Blue-IQ sorts cookies into three groups: strictly necessary, analytics and marketing. Strictly necessary cookies are always on. Analytics and marketing cookies are optional and are only set if you accept them. This page lists exactly what is stored and why.
The one cookie we set
bq.idtoken keeps you signed in to Govern. It is first-party, sent only to Blue-IQ over HTTPS (Secure, SameSite=Strict), and expires with your sign-in session or when you sign out. It is strictly necessary, so the law does not require consent for it.
Optional cookies
Analytics cookies would help us understand which pages are used; marketing cookies would help us measure our campaigns. Neither is set unless you choose “Accept all cookies” or switch the category on in Cookie settings. Today Blue-IQ runs no analytics or marketing tools, so no optional cookie is set even if you accept; if that changes, this page will name each tool before it is used.
Browser storage in the app
The app keeps a few things in your browser's local storage so it behaves the way you left it: whether the sidebar is collapsed, table and report layout, your notification read marks, onboarding progress and unsent drafts. This stays on your device, is never sent to advertisers, and drafts and history are cleared when you sign out.
Your choice
Your choice is saved in your browser's local storage so the banner does not show again. Change it at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page. Clearing your browser data shows the banner again.
Your controls
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking bq.idtoken signs you out and you will not be able to use Govern until it is allowed again.
